Terms of Service

You must be at least 16 years of age to use Fliqo. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have obtained consent from a parent or legal guardian.

2.1 Buyer Accounts

Buyers may sign in using a Google account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it.

2.2 Seller (Merchant) Accounts

Merchants must register at https://fliqo.mu/merchant/register and provide accurate identity information, including a valid National Identity Card (NIC) number, phone number, and address. Providing false information may result in immediate account termination.

2.3 Account Security

You agree to notify us immediately at support@fliqo.mu of any unauthorized access to your account. We are not liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized use of your account.

3.1 Permitted Use

You may use Fliqo solely for lawful purposes, including browsing products, making purchases, watching live streams, and — if you are an approved merchant — listing and selling products.

3.2 Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent product listings or reviews.
• Sell counterfeit, stolen, prohibited, or illegal goods.
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users.
• Circumvent or manipulate the payment system.
• Upload malicious software, spam, or unauthorized advertisements.
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Service.
• Use the Service for any purpose that violates applicable laws of Mauritius or any other jurisdiction.

4.1 Buyer–Seller Relationship

Fliqo is a platform that connects buyers and sellers. Fliqo is not a party to the transaction between you and a seller. The seller is solely responsible for the accuracy of product descriptions, pricing, availability, and fulfillment.

4.2 Payments

Payments are processed through Fliqo's integrated payment system using your mobile phone number. By initiating a payment, you authorize the deduction of the specified amount. All amounts are in Mauritian Rupees (Rs).

4.3 Live Shopping

During live streams, products may be reserved at a locked price for a 5-minute checkout window. Failure to complete checkout within this window will release the reservation. Fliqo does not guarantee product availability or live stream uptime.

4.4 Refunds and Returns

Refund and return eligibility is determined by the individual seller's stated refund policy, visible on their store profile. Fliqo may, at its discretion, mediate disputes but is not obligated to issue refunds on behalf of sellers.

4.5 Order Cancellations

Either party may cancel an order prior to fulfillment, subject to any applicable cancellation policy communicated by the seller.

If you use Fliqo as a merchant, you additionally agree to:

• Provide accurate product listings, including descriptions, images, pricing, and stock levels.
• Fulfill orders in a timely manner consistent with your stated processing times.
• Honor your published refund and return policy.
• Comply with all applicable Mauritian consumer protection and tax laws.
• Not list products that are illegal, counterfeit, dangerous, or restricted.
• Maintain the confidentiality of your seller credentials.

Fliqo reserves the right to suspend or terminate merchant accounts for violations of these obligations.

6.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you submit, including product photos, videos, reviews, and messages ("User Content"). By submitting User Content, you grant Fliqo a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your content in connection with operating and promoting the Service.

6.2 Content Standards

User Content must not be defamatory, obscene, infringing, or otherwise unlawful. We reserve the right to remove any content that violates these Terms or that we deem harmful to the platform or its users.

6.3 AI Features

Fliqo offers AI-powered features including AI-generated product descriptions and virtual try-on using image generation. Content produced by AI features may not always be accurate or suitable. You are responsible for reviewing AI-generated content before publishing it.

All trademarks, logos, software, and content owned or licensed by Fliqo are the exclusive property of Fliqo or its licensors. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works based on our intellectual property without prior written permission.

The Service integrates with third-party services including but not limited to authentication providers, push notification platforms, live streaming infrastructure, customer support tools, and background music services. Your use of these integrations is also subject to the respective terms of service and privacy policies of those providers. Fliqo is not responsible for the practices of third-party services.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fliqo and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, and expenses (including legal fees) arising from:

• Your use of the Service;
• Your User Content;
• Your violation of these Terms; or
• Your violation of any rights of another party.

We may suspend or terminate your account and access to the Service at any time, with or without cause or notice, including for violations of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@fliqo.mu. Upon termination, all licenses granted to you cease immediately.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Mauritius, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mauritius.

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document and, where appropriate, providing in-app notification. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
